This years race started off of Boone Rd. in Lucerne, CA. The new area for main pit was very open and gave racers a lot of room to set up main pit and their camps. There were many miles of new race course that was added to this years course. Race Mile 13-20 appeared to be the greatest challenge for most racers, as they tried to navigate through the deep sand. Overall the course was very diverse and was broken up into fast and tight sections. Here are a few photos from the race. We will be the first to admit, the staff at Desert Rides are racers first and reporters second, and this is a rare case where the whole staff found themselves behind the wheel rather then the lens. As our popularity and staff continue to grow this issue will resolve itself. We will have the full race report from MORE with their photos posted soon.
